What kind of tired are you?

Does anyone else find themselves gassed on Monday mornings after another busy weekend?

I certainly have been lately as my kids' activity schedules have been action packed this spring. However, it’s not something I find myself upset about or interested in changing.

That’s because it’s the ‘good’ kind of tired.

Given the season of life I find myself in, I’m going to be tired because I’m shuttling my kids around all weekend to their activities. And that’s how I want to be spending my limited time and energy these days.

So if you’re similarly ‘tired’ these days, what kind of tired are you?

Are you tired because you’re spending your time and energy on things that uniquely matter to you?

Or are you tired because you find yourself stuck doing things that don’t really matter?

These same questions also extend to your financial situation. If you’re wearing yourself out because you’re constantly worrying about things outside of your control rather than focusing on the things that matter, you’re more susceptible to making less than ideal decisions due to your own exhaustion.

Your own answers to these questions can help determine whether changes might be needed or if your current “tired” is just a by-product of doing all of the things that matter most to you.
